Taylor Swift Tweets "Back in the Studio. Uh oh..." Harry Styles Subject of New Song?
Watch out Harry Styles. Your time has come. Taylor Swift recently tweeted "Back in the studio. Uh oh..." with a pic of her working hard on what appears to be a new song in, "somewhere in L.A."
The cryptic text is the latest bit of gossip in on going "Haylor" column.
Styles is already believed to have been the muse for Swift's most recent single, "I Knew Your Were Trouble".
"And I heard you moved on /?From whispers on the street /?A new notch in your belt /?Is all I'll ever be," is considered to be a line about the boy band flirt.
It's bad news for any ex of the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" star when she has a guitar, pen and paper nearby. Just ask John Mayer who told Rolling Stone Magazine he was "humiliated" after hearing "Dear John," off Swift's 2010 release "Speak Now".
"Dear John, I see it all, now it was wrong / Don't you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so," a seemingly Mayer-directed reference.
Mayer cites the concert favorite as "cheap songwriting" and told Rolling Stone the attack was an example of Swift abusing her talent.
If Swift's newest song really is about the "Haylor" breakup, we could be in for a real treat. Both Taylor Swift and One Direction cater to pretty much the same target audience. Will the chaste Taylor Swift maintain her army of 13-year olds, or will Harry Styles' pre-teen appeal being enough to weather the storm that is Taylor the Ex.
