Taylor Swift New Album Release Date: 'Red' Album Sequel Coming Sooner Than Expected
Taylor Swift, seven-time Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter, is reported to be spending plenty of time in New York City these days and it is believed that she could be busy recording her new album - a follow-up to her chartbuster "Red."
In fact, the singer's close friend Brian Kelly, a member of the pop country duo Florida Georgia Line, says that Taylor's new album may be released sooner than expected.
In a recent interview, Kelly said, "I know Taylor's got an album coming out pretty soon and she'd be amazing to collaborate with," adding, "She already has some really good collaborations, so you can't go wrong with her."
Although the 25-year-old singer is yet to disclose anything regarding her new album, Kelly seems to have blown up her secrets. According to a report, another source too has corroborated that Taylor is working on her new album, which is expected soon.
Mstarz quotes the source saying, "She is in New York because she's working on her album after 'Red'."
The sourced further stated, "She's putting one out soon but she's still trying to write some more songs and she's really inspired by New York. She feels very creative when she's there; it's inspiring her to create. It's such a different head space than Nashville or LA, she loves all three places but right now New York is more her speed."
Last year, Taylor herself talked about her next album and said that she wanted it to be something different from her earlier releases.
At that time, the singer said, "I'm so obsessed with where it is right now because I think, for me, the goal is that we start coming upon a sound that's different from everything that we've done before, an identity to a new record - and having come upon that so early in the process is just really thrilling."
