Taylor Swift New Album 2014 Release Date, Details: '1989' Will Launch October 27, Features 'Red' Singer Rapping

As promised by Red singer Taylor Swift during a Yahoo! Livestream show, her upcoming 5th album will soon be released. According to reports, Swift's new album can be expected to launch on October 27 of this year, a little over a month from now.

The singer-actress' new album reportedly contains 13 new tracks, including one, entitled "Shake It Off," that was co-written by Swedish songwriters, the musician Shellback himself, Karl Johan Schuster, and music producer Max Martin.

The song, "Shake It Off," is reportedly a far cry from Swift's conventional country music style, and is evident of her recently announced decision to make a transition from what she's already known for. In the past years, the "Teardrops on My Guitar" singer has kept her traditional country music trademark, which proved an effective way to reach out to millions of her fans as the singer's past albums had all been a huge success.

This time, however, the singer has decided to take a leap of fate by merging into another genre, per se. According to Swift during the Yahoo! Livestream show, she has decided to detach herself from country music this time, which she has been known for ever since she rose to fame.

One comment about the song "Shake It Off" stated that the latest Swift single features the 24-year-old songstress "rapping", and that the song is mainly centered on shaking off one's haters.

The latest album from the former country singer is entitled 1989, and will also be released in a deluxe edition which contains bonus tracks, in addition to the thirteen songs featured in the album.
