Taylor Swift seems to have hit a good patch in her life as her projects and personal life have met with good fortune recently. The 24-year-old country singer has a new movie coming out, a new album on her mind, and a new love interest in her heart.

However, the 'Sweeter Than Fiction' singer has decided to take things slow. Reports say that the millionaire singer-turned actress has been turning down dating proposals from the equally-rich former 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star Orlando Bloom. The latter, however, was rumored to have moved to a $4.8 million dollar apartment in the same neighborhood as Swift in the former Sugarloaf Warehouse, causing even more speculation that the actor is perhaps serious about getting close to the blonde superstar.

Singer and Taylor's close friend, Ed Sheeran has also reportedly tried to play the role of matchmaker and set the two up together.

Bloom was once married to Victoria Secret Angel Australian supermodel, Miranda Kerr. The estranged couple divorced last year and have a son, Flynn Bloom, who is currently 3 years old.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift fans can hardly wait as their favorite singer stars in the movie 'The Giver' alongside award-winning actress Meryl Streep, 'Dawson's Creek' star Katie Holmes and Jeff Bridges. 'The Giver' is a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Lois Lowry, the movie is set to be released next month, August of 2014.
