After Taylor Swift published a column in last Sunday's Wall Street Journal, where she earnestly expressed her optimism for the future of love songs, many of her fans are wondering if she will consider releasing new music that is linked to her boyfriends and the pitfalls of dating.

The Red lyrics producer and singer is reported to have been on the receiving end of plenty of text messages from Lord of the Rings actor Orlando Bloom. Bloom is divorced from his supermodel wife, Miranda Kerr, and the actor has been also been said to be constantly going out with Taylor's best friend, Selena Gomez.

Recently, rumored boyfriend Ed Sheeran revealed that Taylor Swift's personality is comparable to a "middle-aged woman" and many of Taylor's fans on Twitter and Instagram felt that the comments may have embarrassed her and hurt her dating life.

"I know she's 24, but she's sort of a middle-aged woman trapped in a 24-year old's body," Sheeran said, according to the Daily News, "She hangs out with her cat and sews things," he added.

When asked if Sheeran has helped Taylor write any of the songs in Red, he was quick to mention that Taylor wrote her new album "all on her own".

In other news, Taylor was rumored to have spent a night with Austin Mahone at a hotel room where they engaged in a food fight, leaving many fans wondering if they may have hooked up or officially started dating. Mahone confirmed on Chelsey Lately that the food fight did indeed take place, but did not mention if he and Taylor were dating or not.
