Taylor Swift Buys $17 Million Home in Rhode Island

Taylor Swift's career is booming and it has been for the last several years now.  Money is no problem for the pop/country princess and she is showing everyone that.

The singer reportedly paid $17 million in cash for her fourth home, which is a seaside mansion in ritzy Rhode Island.

According to TMZ, days after Swift, 23, was seen touring the gorgeous estate in Westerly, R.I., she has now sealed the pricey deal. The gossip site reports movers were spotted at the property April 27.

The mansion boasts five bedrooms, 700 feet of waterfront and more than 11,000 square feet of living space sitting on five acres.

Swift even showed her negotiating skills and talked down the price from the asking price of $20 million to  $17.75 million.

She recently bought and flipped property a Cape Cod, Mass. reportedly because it was close to then-boyfriend Conor Kennedy.  She did make a $1 million profit reportedly, so good for her.

"I apparently buy houses near every boy I like - that's a thing that I apparently do," Swift joked in an interview with Vanity Fair, initially denying the Kennedy link.

"If I like you, I will apparently buy up the real estate market just to freak you out so you leave me."

Do you think 4 homes is too many for the pop star or should she be able to spend her money how she wants?
