Taran Noah Smith DUI: Former “Home Improvement” Star Convicted of Drug Possession

Taran Noah Smith, former "Home Improvement" star, has been convicted of marijuana possession on Tuesday stemming from an arrest earlier this year.

In February 2012, Smith was approach by a police officer in LA because his car was parked in front of a fire hydrant. Drugs were found in his car and he was arrested and charged with a DUI and cannabis possession.

The 28 year old former actor pled guilty to drug possession and no contest to the DUI, according to TMZ. He's been sentenced to a 12-hour program for the DUI, a six-month drug program for the marijuana, and three years probation.

He started acting at 7 years old on the hit comedy "Home Improvement". He played Mark Taylor, the youngest son of Tim Allen's character from 1991 to 1999. He has not had any major acting roles since the show ended.
