Taran Noah Smith DUI: Former “Home Improvement” Star Convicted of Drug Possession
Taran Noah Smith, former "Home Improvement" star, has been convicted of marijuana possession on Tuesday stemming from an arrest earlier this year.
In February 2012, Smith was approach by a police officer in LA because his car was parked in front of a fire hydrant. Drugs were found in his car and he was arrested and charged with a DUI and cannabis possession.
The 28 year old former actor pled guilty to drug possession and no contest to the DUI, according to TMZ. He's been sentenced to a 12-hour program for the DUI, a six-month drug program for the marijuana, and three years probation.
He started acting at 7 years old on the hit comedy "Home Improvement". He played Mark Taylor, the youngest son of Tim Allen's character from 1991 to 1999. He has not had any major acting roles since the show ended.
