'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers, Recap: Episode 6 'Ask Jeeves' Showcases Sam and Dean as Detectives

The latest episode of 'Supernatural' turned out to be the show's 200th episode, and landed in Season 10. On that note, the producers of the show decided to do something a little different than what fans of the series are used to.

'Supernatural' Season 10 Episode 5, entitled "Fan Fiction," aired on November 11, and threw in a musical aspect that was something new to the show entirely.

According to the reviews on Den of Geek, "Supernatural's 200th episode is a fond tribute to its fans and bears repeat viewing".

In the episode, Sam and Dean must fend off goddess Calliope, as they watch a musical about their lives. The pair quickly realized that the entity is behind all the mischief as would go as far as to eat the writer of the play, Marie.

Trying to catch Calliope, Sam gets captured by her while Dean battles a scarecrow creation of hers.

Sam kills her with the help of Calliope's other victims, causing a dramatic end to part of the play. As the Winchesters prepare to leave, the cast sings "Carry on Wayward Son" and Marie gives Dean a prop version of his old amulet, the symbol of his brotherhood with Sam.

After the brothers leave, Chuck Shurley arrives to congratulate Marie, despite having disappeared years before.

Moving on to the upcoming episode of the series, the Winchester brothers will be forced to play detective in Episode 6.

According to the promo video of the next episode, Sam and Dean will take a break from hunting supernatural entities to solve a murder International Business Times reports.

Additionally, Dean will find out a surprising message on Bobby's cell phone claiming that Bobby or his next of kin has been named as the beneficiary to an heiress' will.

Since Bobby treated the Winchester boys as his own, Dean tries to convince Sam to claim the fortune as his own.

'Supernatural' will air Season 10 Episode 6, entitled "Ask Jeeves," on Nov. 18 on The CW.
