‘Supernatural’ Season 10 Release Date, Spoilers: Photos Hint About Premiere Episode's Big Scenes

'Supernatural' is back for its tenth season on October 7 with Dean Winchester transformed into an unholy demon after being killed by Metatron. It is not clear whether or not CW's hit series will be renewed for more season, but Network President Mark Pedowitz said that the show is going to continue "for as long as they want."

As treat for fans, the 200th episode of 'Supernatural' will go musical with Demon Dean belting out a 1978 Atlanta Rhythm Section's "Imaginary Lover." Showrunner Jeremy Carver told E! Online they are going meta-musical for the premiere episode and will feature a couple of other songs for fans.

But Jensen Ackles' character is not all aggressive because in the second promo photo, Dean is seen getting cozy with a waitress. According to TVLine, the waitress named Ann Marie could be Demon Dean's new love interest.

While Dean is traveling down the dark path, his brother Sam is held captive for trying to find a cure. Season 10 also takes, "Castiel to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of Metatron's campaign. With his grace failing and rogue angels still on the loose, Cass will face the ticking clock of his own mortality as all-new threats emerge to once again push all of our heroes to their limits."

Carver added that while Metatron is spending time in jail, all the other angels are figuring out a way to work things out contributing to the stability in Heaven.

'Supernatural' Season 10 premieres October 7. A retrospective episode airs on October 6 at 9 pm EST, where the producers and cast members discuss highlights of the past nine seasons and what to look forward to in the upcoming one.
