Supernatural Season 10 Release Date, Spoilers: Premiere Set to Give a Shock to Fans, Likely October 2014

With the Season 9 finale of "Supernatural" offering a tense climax for fans of the CW hit show, fans are now wondering what they should expect in Season 10 of the thriller series.

It is being anticipated that Season 10 will premiere sometime in October 2014, but the producers are yet to announce a specific date.

The CW renewed "Supernatural," co-created by Eric Kripke, for Season 10 and if reports are to be believed, the next season will be the most amazing yet.  According to Jared Padlecki, who portrays the character of the younger Winchester brother, the new season of this hit drama will deal with Dien's new, dark dilemma.

For the uninitiated, Dean was stabbed to death by Metatron in the Season 9 finale.

Viewers saw that after Dean was killed, Sam ran over to his elder brother, who was limply propped up against a wall, bloodied and beat-up. The siblings spoke their final words as Sam held Dean in his arms.

Before his death, Dean confessed, "I'm proud of us."

However, Dean didn't stay dead for long and soon after he passed away, fans saw the supernatural hunter awake - with big, black eyes. Yes, now Dean is a demon!

In an interview to Zap2it, Padalecki said, "The final 30 seconds of the finale ... certainly sets up what's going to happen with Season 10."

In fact, we all somewhat wished that Dean had died. For some time now, we have been watching Sam and Dean's turbulent relationship persist and it felt like we'd never see them get out of that mood - at least till Dean died. The boys actually sunk their differences as Dean was dying, ending their feud with sweet, loving words.

Padalecki too admitted he was pleased to see that his character and Dean had moved on to a good place. However, it is believed that things will worsen in Season 10 when Sam realizes his brother Dean has turned into a dark, threatening creature.
