'Superman' Star Henry Cavill Talks Upcoming 'Justice League' Movie Prospects and New 'Superman' Sequel

Superman: Man of Steel has been a huge worldwide success, bringing in over $400 million in box office since it's release earlier this month.

With many 'Justice League' characters recently brought to life on the big screen again, (Batman, Wonder Woman & Green Lantern) the idea of a 'Justice League' movie is gaining momentum. Many feel that it could have as much success at The Avengers movie had.

Henry Cavill spoke with ABC News about his thoughts on making a new 'Justice League' movie.

He explained: "'Justice League could be great if done correctly. It's a very tough one to do because the DC comic heroes are all god-like in their power. So in this real world universe, real world setting we're telling our story in, it's going to be tough to achieve that. Cavill went on to say, "It has to be done very delicately with a lot of thought. So, it won't be right away. I hope it's not, anyway. It may take some time of building up other movies and other characters and introducing them together in one way or another."

With the new 'Batman' and 'Superman' movies heading in a more "realstic" and slightly "darker" feel, the idea is that the other characters might have trouble fitting into that type of movie together.

This might not be good news for fans hoping for a 'Justice League' movie coming soon, but fans can look forward to the next 'Superman' movie. Writer, David S. Grover, has been hired on by Warner Brothers to write the next 'Superman' follow-up.

Do you think a 'Justice League' movie will eventually happen?
