‘Super Smash Bros. 4’ Wii U Characters: Exclusive Mystery Fighters, New Features- Stage Creator

While Nintendo fans are enjoying their copies of 'Super Smash Bros. 4' for their 3DS handhelds, they are eagerly awaiting the release of the Wii U version and all its unlockable characters and several new features.

'Super Smash Bros. 4' was first released on Nintendo 3DS last month and it became a massive hit while enforcing the franchise's significant following, especially in Japan.

Now, SSB 4 developer Nintendo unveiled a teaser in regards to the "secret" characters that Nintendo fans can look forward to in the Wii U version of the game.

Unfortunately for 3DS players, the characters will only be available for the Wii U edition of 'Super Smash Bros. 4'.

The five characters that will be available in the game are Ness, Falco, Wario, Dr. Mario and Dark Pit.

First on the list is Ness. This PK powered little boy is the main character in the iconic SNES role playing game, 'Earthbound', and the sole character from the Earthbound and Mother franchise to be included in the upcoming game. The courageous little boy from Onett will have an enhanced look and a new voice as well.

Falco also returns as a playable character in the game. The talented pilot, with a powerful and deadly jump that can deal a lot of damage, returns to the game. Falco is included in "Fox McCloud's" set of main characters, from the 'Star Fox' series of games.

Mario's rival, Wario who has been featured in 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl' can also be expected to make a comeback in the upcoming version of the game, 'Super Smash Bros. 4'.

Dr. Mario is another playable character in the upcoming game with the same "Melee" moveset, but this time, he's got a new "Final Smash" move.

Finally, the villain who was created after Pit destroyed the Mirror of Truth, Dark Pit, can also be played in 'Super Smash Bros. 4', with similar moves as that of Pit.

According to Amazon as revealed by iDigitalTimes, 'Super Smash Bros. 4'"will also release new features exclusively for the Wii U.

Stage creation will be possible though the use of the Wii U GamePad and players can battle out with opponents in the game's new board game mode.

Gamers can expect the new board game mode to be similar to the 'Mario Party' series of titles.

On a sour note, the 3DS title as well as the upcoming Wii U version did receive some criticism from its fan base. Some fans are allegedly complaining about the lack of variety in the playable characters. They are claiming that the game includes too many "clone" characters instead of new and original fighters.

Nevertheless, 'Super Smash Bros. 4' will be released in North America on November 21, and will arrive in Europe on December 5, while in Australia- it arrives December 6.
