Today's Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day features three versions of the Blue Bomber Mega Man for both the Wii U and 3DS.

"Pic of the day. Mega Man.EXE and Mega Man Volnutt!! They only appear for a split second, but the modeling is so detailed. And if that's the case"¦!" wrote game developer Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse. "...How can we not use it for trophy creation?! Today's update is a rare mix of Wii U and 3DS images in the same post."

In the first picture, Mega Man.EXE and Mega Man Volnutt are seen for the Wii U screenshot against a blue background. See that image here. In the second picture, a screenshot for the 3DS, an Assist Trophy for Mega Man X is featured. That picture can be seen here.

In yesterday's Pic of the Day Princess Rosalina with Luma was featured as she battles a Mii Gunner.

"Pic of the day. The Mii Gunner in his suit. Looking sharp! The arm cannon's design will change depending on the outfit, but the attacks and projectiles will be the same," wrote game developer Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse.

The picture is a screenshot from the 3DS and features the two characters on the Mario Kart Rainbow Road inspired level. See the picture here.

The full character list for the game so far is: Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Pit, Olimar, Toon Link, Princess Peach, Sonic the Hedgehog, MegaMan, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, Zelda, the Villager, King Dedede, Lucario, Little Mac, Diddy Kong, Zero Suit Samus, Greninja, Charizard, Shiek, Yoshi, Ike, Pac-Man, Mii Fighters, and Lady Palutena.

The game's release date for the 3DS was revealed as October 3, which was a push back from its original July launch. The Wii U version is still unconfirmed, but it is anticipated for the holiday season.
