Super Smash Bros 4 Stages: Nintendogs Level Hinted for 3DS in New Pic of the Day (PICTURE)
Super Smash Bros 4 revealed a new Pic of the Day for the 3DS version of the game that hinted at a Nintendogs level.
Game director Masahiro Sakurai's latest Pic of the Day made the reveal as he also admitted he is not sure what to do next.
"Pic of the day. A bored-looking dog staring at the TV"¦ Occasionally, the Super Smash Bros. series really makes me confused about what I'm creating," he posted. See the image here.
Could this new screen shot be a 3DS level? It seems likely as Nintendogs is one of the highest selling games of all time, and extremely popular for the handheld console.
A new assist trophy introduced last week shows Samus being sent through the air by a monster.
"Pic of the day. Housed within the Control Capsule! Protected by Rinkas! Eyeball armed with a Laser Brain Attack!! The massive Assist Trophy Mother Brain joins the collection!!" wrote Sakurai on the Nintendo Miiverse.
The character Mother Brain is one of Samus' greatest enemies from the Metroid franchise of games. She is also from the Captain N: The Game Master cartoon as well. Mother Brain appeared in the first and third games in the series, and later in a Game Boy Advance remake.
In the image Mother Brain is seen breaking out of a glass case, and her eye is shooting a laser beam up at Samus who is now being hurdled through the air. See the image here.
Assist Trophies help SSB characters in their battle. Upon receiving one, the character will summon a random Nintendo character that is not on the game's roster, and it will help them in the battle for a brief period of time.
SSB4 is rumored to be coming out for the Wii U and 3DS sometime in March, although there has been no confirmation from Nintendo yet.
