Super Smash Bros 4 developer Masahiro Sakurai released a new Pic of the Day today that showcases the Nintendogs stage for the 3DS.

While no Miiverse message is available at the moment, the picture is a familiar one as it is an update of the picture seen here.

Nintendogs was quite popular on the DS handheld, where it became one of the highest selling games of all time. This level is most likely a 3DS exclusive.

MegaMan recently featured in another Pic of the Day, this time with newcomer, Little Mac.

"Pic of the day. Little Mac can deliver some solid punches while fighting on the ground," wrote Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse. See the image here.

Little Mac is from Mike Tyson's Punch Out on the NES.

Nintendo still has not put a release date on the much anticipated game, but many suspect it should be out sometime this spring.
