With all the announcements that revealed the upcoming characters in Nintendo's new 'Super Smash Bros 4', fans are more anxious than ever to get their hands on a copy of the game.

Gamers became excited when the latest installment of the popular videogame franchise was announced, but with all the new content that was revealed, fans are now ecstatic. With the release dates already set by developer Nintendo, information about the game is being carefully given out.

Major details are being kept top secret, as Nintendo wants to preserve the full impact and surprise the game will surely offer to its players.

Recent reports about the highly anticipated title, mention that new icons will be be available to players. Masahiro Sakurai, creator and director for SSB4, mentioned a new item and character trophy, "Yup, you guessed it! It's another combinable item like the Dragoon ... the Daybreak," he revealed.

Beyond that, the latest update of the game concludes that players will be able to shoot while moving backwards and forwards, something that was not possible in the previous games.

Sakurai also mentioned that a new character will appear in the game, however he will not be a playable one. Prince of the Sablé Kingdom is confirmed to be featured in the forthcoming 'Super Smash Bros 4' game.

As it stands, the latest SSB title will launch on 3DS this October 3, in North America and Europe.
