'Super Smash Bros 4' Release Date, Character Roster: New Game on November 25, 2014 for Wii-U and Oct. 3 for 3DS

Despite all the excitement at E3 over 'Super Smash Bros 4', Nintendo continues to provide details regarding the staggered release of the game for Wii U and 3DS.

Nintendo has already announced at the gaming conference that 'Super Smash Bros 4' will be released for 3DS on October 3, and will release for Wii U on November 25. A few allegedly leaked images showcase the character select menu for the game and these images have hyped the fans to get their hands in this game.

As expected, the Japanese game developer has already revealed that 'Super Smash Bros 4' will include several new characters as well as other new features.

It has also introduced Lady Palutena, Pac-man, the Mii Fighters and an appearance by Mr. Game & Watch at the E3, but Nintendo has not yet confirmed him as playable. Even after these key announcements, series director Masahiro Sakurai will continue to provide the fans with relatively smaller details through the official site in the form of a daily picture update.

Sakurai's Wednesday post boasts two Pokemon - Xerneas and Victini, who will take part in the action. These two legendary characters will considerably revolutionize the battlefield with their powers.

In his post, Sakurai describes the characters saying, "Victini and Xerneas are both support Pokémon. Victini's Victory Star boosts the attack of whoever throws the Poké Ball, and also prevents flinching. Xerneas's Geomancy increases the launch power of all fighters, but exceptionally raises it for whoever had the Poké Ball."

These two Pokemon appear to be quite influential, different from Mew in the past, who simply floats around and subsequently departs.
