Even as fans wait for the specific release date of "Super Smash Bros." for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, rumors continue to pour in from the Japanese video game developer.

While we are already aware that the new game will be launched on the 3DS this summer and most probably on the Wii U in winter, it seems fans will have to wait till the E3 conference in June to get the precise details regarding the title.

Nevertheless, Nintendo has been regularly posting new updates regarding the title on the official website of the game. The last noteworthy information on the game was released on Nintendo Direct revealing some details regarding the characters and the storyline.

Although the daily updates from Nintendo do not reveal much each time, it is very likely that the game series director Masahiro Sakurai will keep fans informed regarding the title with more new posts often, which will all go towards building a fuller picture about the release.

A report in GamenGuide.com says, "We know the title will be out this summer on 3DS, and most likely this winter on Wii U, but it seems increasingly likely that we'll have to wait for this June's E3 for the exact release date."

The report further says, "What we will consistently see are daily updates from Nintendo on the game's official site. The last significant info drop came from a Nintendo Direct, below, which revealed several new characters and details. While the daily posts don't give as many details as that video did, rest assured that series director Masahiro Sakurai will continue to post some form of content from the upcoming titles to appease fans."
