Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day Reveals Redesigned Bumper Item as MegaMan Shows off Dual Sides (PICTURES)
Super Smash Bros 4's Pic of the Day shows MegaMan testing the newly redesigned Bumper item/weapon in the game.
"Pic of the day. The Bumper is back with a detailed new design. This also means there will be no Flippers," wrote Masahiro Sakurai on the Nintendo Miiverse. "Here's the back side of the Bumper. There's way too much detail put into the side you can't really see. The designers really went overboard."
See the first picture showing the Bumper from the front here. See the other image, which features MegaMan holding it, facing the back here.
One of the other items revealed through Sakurai's Pic of the Day was the very popular Homerun Bat.
Pic of the day. The Home-run Bat in this game is black! And it's so powerful that your eyes might bug out!!" Sakurai wrote on the Nintendo Miiverse a few weeks ago.
In the first picture Toon Link is seen swinging for the fences on Donkey Kong. In the second picture, an alternative view is given that sees the battered primate flying through the air and off the screen. "And here's a look at a home run exiting the arena," the caption read.
See the first picture here and the second here.
The homerun bat is the most powerful weapon in the game, and if the opponent is beaten up just enough, it almost guarantees a victory upon connection.
SSB4 is rumored to be coming out for the Wii U and 3DS sometime in March, although there has been no confirmation from Nintendo yet as the hype has been building.
