Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day Reveals Pokemon Assist Trophy; Meloetta Blasts Enemies with Vocal Attacks (PICTURE)

In today's Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day a new Pokemon Assist Trophy was revealed, Meloetta.

"Remember the video that introduced Greninja joining the battle? Every Pokémon that appeared in that video will make some kind of appearance in Super Smash Bros! By the way, here's one of the Pokémon that didn't make an appearance in that video--Meloetta. Its vocal attacks reflect off land forms, so they'll be especially effective in a closed environment," wrote game developer Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse.

In the picture Meloetta is seen blasting its vocal attacks in the form of musical notes. See the image here.

On Friday Sakurai revealed the two Fire Emblem fighters together with their stage, Ike and Marth. The two swordsmen dueled it out in their new stage. "Here's Ike, Marth and"¦a brand-new stage!" wrote Sakurai. "We've added a familiar setting from the Fire Emblem series, the Coliseum. In the original game, this place is filled with both hope and despair. There is machinery in the ground that activates variable platforms."

The characters confirmed for the game so far are: Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Pit, Olimar, Toon Link, Princess Peach, Sonic the Hedgehog, MegaMan, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, Zelda, the Villager, King Dedede, Lucario, Little Mac, Diddy Kong, Zero Suit Samus, Greninja, Charizard, Shiek, Yoshi, and now Ike.

The game will launch this summer for the 3DS and in the winter for the Wii U.
