Today's Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day features Little Mac and Zelda battling in the boxing ring arena as a special area of the level is showed off.

"Pic of the day. You can get up on the lights of this special ring. It's a perfect secret hiding place," game developer Masahiro Sakurai wrote in the Nintendo Miiverse.

In the first picture Little Mac is seen throwing an uppercut at the stage's lights, as Zelda walks across the cat walk on top of the level. See the image here.

"And you can attack the lights and have them fall to the ground! That makes things dark. The lights are way up high, but even Little Mac can get up there by jumping off the ropes," Sakurai continued.

The second picture shows the lights crashing down with Zelda and Little Mac heading back down. See the image here.

Friday's Pic of the Day revealed a new Assist Trophy that gave Sonic the Hedgehog quite the stare down.

The character is Dillon from Dillon's Rolling Western on the 3DS, and he seems non-to-pleased to see Sonic. Sonic's expression looks as if the feeling is mutual. See the picture here.

"Pic of the day. We didn't introduce ALL of the Assist Trophies in the Smash Bros. Direct. Here's Dillon from Dillon's Rolling Western!! He may rival Sonic in the art of rolling," wrote game developer Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse forum.

He continued, "Pic of the day. This is his trophy. He may be an animal, and his buckles are definitely on the adorable side, but there's no denying he looks cool!! His Assist Trophy can even do things like a quick charge." See that picture here.

The characters that are confirmed for the game so far are: Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Pit, Olimar, Toon Link, Princess Peach, Sonic the Hedgehog, MegaMan, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, Zelda, the Villager, King Dedede, Lucario, Little Mac, Diddy Kong, Zero Suit Samus, Greninja, Charizard, Shiek, and Yoshi.

The game will launch this summer for the 3DS and in the winter for the Wii U.
