Today's Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day features Princess Rosalina with Luma as she battles a Mii Gunner.

"Pic of the day. The Mii Gunner in his suit. Looking sharp! The arm cannon's design will change depending on the outfit, but the attacks and projectiles will be the same," wrote game developer Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse.

The picture is a screenshot from the 3DS and features the two characters on the Mario Kart Rainbow Road inspired level. See the picture here.

Yesterday's Pic of the Day revealed an alternate pink hoodie costume for Little Mac.

"Pic of the day. The pink sweatshirt looks really cool on Little Mac, so you can use that outfit in this game"¦ How can a pink sweatshirt look so cool?" wrote game developer Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse.

Little Mac is seen with a pink hoodie and green boxing gloves and is standing next to a blue and white striped version of himself with different boots and red gloves. See the image here.

The full character list for the game so far is: Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Pit, Olimar, Toon Link, Princess Peach, Sonic the Hedgehog, MegaMan, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, Zelda, the Villager, King Dedede, Lucario, Little Mac, Diddy Kong, Zero Suit Samus, Greninja, Charizard, Shiek, Yoshi, Ike, Pac-Man, Mii Fighters, and Lady Palutena.

The game's release date for the 3DS was revealed as October 3, which was a push back from its original July launch. The Wii U version is still unconfirmed, but it is anticipated for the holiday season.
