In today's Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day, Diddy Kong is seen testing out one of his special attacks on a now very upset Bowser.

"Pic of the day. The Peanut Popgun now deals a powerful attack when it explodes. It'll be difficult to hit your target, but when you succeed, the explosion will really blow your enemies away. Give it a shot when you break someone's shield," game developer Masahiro Sakurai wrote in the Nintendo Miiverse.

In the picture Diddy Kong is seen blasting Bowser with this powerful attack on what appears to be the wing of a plane. See that image here.

Just last week, one of Zelda's powerful attacks was showcased as she battled against Link.

In the picture Zelda is using her Din Fire attack to light up her video game counterpart Link. This move has a lot of potential to be a devastating attack in the game.

"Pic of the day. Zelda's Din's Fire is now stronger in its core. The farther it's projected, the bigger and more powerful it will be, but you need to hit foes with the core if you want to make them fall," wrote Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse. View the picture here.

The characters confirmed for the game so far are: Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Pit, Olimar, Toon Link, Princess Peach, Sonic the Hedgehog, MegaMan, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, Zelda, the Villager, King Dedede, Lucario, Little Mac, and now Diddy Kong.

The game is expected out sometime this spring for the Wii U and 3DS, however, Nintendo has not confirmed the date yet.
