In today's Super Smash Bros 4 Pic of the Day for the 3DS, Pokemon's Charizard is seen trying to eat a foe of Kirby, Waddle Dee.

"Pic of the day. Don't eat him. You can't eat him," wrote game developer Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse. See the image here.

Charizard is one of the game's recently released characters, and Waddle Dee appears to be an Assist Trophy.

Yesterday's Pic of the Day was for the 3DS as well, and introduced a new Balloon Fight inspired level.

"Pic of the day. Here's a special stage exclusive to the 3DS version, Balloon Fight!! The stage loops on the left and right sides so you can walk off one side and appear on the other," wrote game director Masahiro Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse.

The picture shows a black starry background with a monster swimming around. Five platforms with a spinning obstacle are part of the layout. See the picture here" target="_blank">here.

The characters confirmed for the game so far are: Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Pit, Olimar, Toon Link, Princess Peach, Sonic the Hedgehog, MegaMan, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, Zelda, the Villager, King Dedede, Lucario, Little Mac, Diddy Kong, Zero Suit Samus, Greninja, Charizard, Shiek, and Yoshi.

The game will launch this summer for the 3DS and in the winter for the Wii U.
