Super Bowl 2016 Predictions: Carolina Panthers To Be Challenged By Denver Broncos At NFL Championship?

With the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers set to face each other at the NFL Championship, it is predicted that the latter will be challenged by the former's defense.

According to The Miami Hurricane, Broncos' pass defense would restraint Panthers' quarterback Cam Newton. As per the publication, the team's defense arises at the cornerback position, in which a couple of all-pro players are cradled. Also, the quarterback is not expected to throw more than 200 yards in the upcoming match-up.

With a triad of interceptions, Broncos' cornerback Aqib Talib is set to lead the team and block major plays coming from Panthers' Ted Ginn Jr. or Corey Brown. For Panthers' wide receivers who are not viewed by Broncos as major threats, the latter team also has cornerback Chris Harris Jr. to mess up with the opposing team.

According to the NFL website, Panthers' tight end Greg Olsen stands as the team's best pass option, since he had the greatest record of 77 receptions, 1,104 receiving yards, along with seven touchdowns.

Football experts Dom Cosentino, Eliot Shorr-Parks, and Matt Lombardo also voiced their thoughts on what could happen in the upcoming Super Bowl 2016. In their interview with NJ, Cosentino said that the Broncos won even though Manning did not throw for 200 yards.

Shorr-Parks said that Carolina's defense forced three turnovers in double-digit victory while Lobardo said Manning would get benched at some point in the game while it was competitive, but the Broncos offense was stuck in neutral.

Set to counter Newton, Peyton Manning will be Broncos' main quarterback, along with Trevor Siemian and Brock Osweiler, as per previous reports.

Broadcasted by CBS, Super Bowl 50 is scheduled on Feb.7 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
