'Suicide Squad' Cast News: Margot Robbie Talks How It Was Working With Jared Leto's Joker

The production for David Ayer's 'Suicide Squad' film has finally wrapped up and due to all the outlandish stories and rumors we've heard about what went on on set, fans can only wonder how the actors will go back to their regularly scheduled lives.

Harley Quinn actress Margot Robbie recently held an interview with New York Daily and spoke on the experiences of working on the film, as well as how it felt to finally be done.

A big topic of conversation was how it was working with Jared Leto's Joker, as it was implied that the actor never left character.

"What he's doing with the character is so cool," she said. "At first it was kind of confronting (to be up close) but now I'm so used to it, I think if I ever saw him out of makeup now I would be really confused. Actually, I saw him out of makeup once and I was actually petrified of him. I was too scared to go up and didn't know who that person was, and when he got back into his makeup I was far more comfortable."

She went on to speak on what separates 'Suicide Squad' from other superhero films.

"I guess the one common denominator is we're all bad guys, it just makes everything more fun that way. The scenes are more interesting I feel, when you just don't know how the characters are going to react, especially with Harley, who's absolutely nuts... she's either going to kill you or laugh and give you a hug."

'Suicide Squad' will find itself in theaters on August 5, 2016.
