'Street Fighter 5' March Update, News On Multiplayer, Capcom To Punish For Rage-Quitters?
Capcom is currently trying to figure out what to do with rage quitters. Gamers who quit and disconnect from the match while its not over has been an ongoing problem and definitely needs to be stopped.
Rage quitting happens when players disconnect from the game even before the fight is over to protect their records, maintain their streaks and their rankings on the leaderboards. Capcom is now working on the problem after listening to a lot of complaints online. Right now, the least that gamers can do is to record those rage quitters and "put them on blast" according to Kotaku. There will be a "direct action" on the problem that will start next week.
Also, there are other problems gamers are experiencing on the game. The gamers experience a very slow process of match making throughout the Middle East, Latin America, Europe and other territories. Gamers sometimes have to wait for as much as 30 minutes just be able to play the game online.
An Alt-Tab glitch has also been a problem recently and Capcom is aware of the problem and said that the problem is currently under investigation.
Also according to the site, there will be a DLC coming out sometime around March; this would be the game's first. We hope that this patch would be able to fix these problems and as well as add more feature to the game. Some also hope that the DLC would be able to add more weight on to the game would come out a bit incomplete.
