WCW legend Sting made his first appearance with WWE at the San Diego Comic-Con 2014 on July 24 and talked about his current status with the sports entertainment company.

"Well, aside from video games and action figures and t-shirts and things like that, let's just say that I'm open for anything. I've been very public about the fact that I'd like to get in the ring at least one more time and I've named my opponent on and off over the years. It doesn't matter, though. Just one more ... one more," said Sting to IGN.

The six-time WCW champion also talked about his shocking and historic appearance at a WWE related event in order to promote his new line of Sting toys being produced by the Mattel toy company.

"It's a momentous occasion, that's for sure. It's my very first appearance with WWE... there are so many firsts: WWE, first appearance, action figure, video game, WWE fans, Comic Con; all a first for me, so it was huge," said Sting.

The veteran professional wrestler also revealed about how his former WCW colleague Hulk Hogan has lobbied for him to make his debut in the WWE many years ago.

"Well, yeah, (Hulk Hogan) definitely (tried to pull me in) in the earlier days for sure. He called me a few months back and he was planting a few seeds, for sure," said Sting.

WWE will finally release a DVD titled "Sting - The Ultimate Collection" DVD on September 29 that will chronicle his entire career in WCW, plus his early days in the UWF organization when he was tag team partners (Blade Runners) with the late Ultimate Warrior in the 1980's.

In addition, Sting will appear as a pre-order character in the upcoming WWE game in his two iconic versions of the popular performer (the Crow version and the original Surfer gimmick).

WWE 2K15 will arrive in American stores on October 28 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
