'Star Wars: Episode 7' Plot Spoilers: 'Game of Thrones' Actress to Play Villain Role?
Since 'Star Wars Episode 7' has started production, every eager wants to know about what is happening in Disney's studios. However, JJ Abram is super secretive about his productions, as he puts warning posters all over the sets to ask visitors to keeping quiet about the movie.
This means that fans should probably not expect any leakage happening before the movie's actual release. However, talking with the cast of the show has brought to light some exciting information about the upcoming film.
The two recent additions to the cast are '12 Years a Slave' Lupita Nyong'o, and 'Game of Thrones' star (Brienne of Tarth) - Gwendoline Christie. While Nyong'o is set to play a positive role, if rumors are to be believed, Christie is going to be the female villain and probably a Sith which is something everybody is talking about. With her fearsome greatsword skills, she will certainly be menacing with light sabers.
If the above rumor is true, She will also be teaming up with Luke Skywalker himself who may have fallen to the dark side (it has happened in the post empire novels) to rise the Sith dominance. However, there is a possibility that Daisy Ridley will actually be the one to don a Sith Cloak and a crimson light saber.
However, there are speculations that she will be the lead along with John Boyega. The two have been spotted recently shooting in a remote desert in Abu Dhabi, most possibly a sequence on Tatooine.
The story is reported to be occurring 30 years after Battle of Endor and Abrams wants it to revolve around Han and Leia alongside Luke. On that note, the New Republic will be far from creation and the Empire may be still resisting the Resistance.
