Star Wars Episode 7 Movie Plot Rumors: Sith Witches, Mandalorian Warriors to Battle Jedi Luke Skywalker
In the latest Star Wars Episode 7 rumors, Luke, Han, and Leia will be battling Mandalorians and Sith Witches in the forthcoming film.
According to a new Latino-Review report, it claims that Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and his friends will face Mandalorians, a group of fierce warriors who usually appear as mercenaries in the Star Wars franchise. The most notable Mandalorian Warriors are bounty hunters Jango Fett (who appeared in the Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones movie) and his son/clone Boba Fett (the most popular and dangerous Mandalorian in the history of the sci-fi franchise).
Boba Fett kidnapped Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, in order to collect a bounty that crime boss Jabba the Hutt put on Solo's head. Solo was frozen in carbonite after Solo's friend Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams) betrayed Solo and the Rebel Alliance in order to protect the citizens living in Cloud City.
In Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, after Luke, Leia, Chewbacca and Lando attempted to save Han Solo, they were all imprisoned on Jabba the Hutt's aerial sail barge. Han Solo (still temporarily blinded by the effects of being trapped in a block of carbonite ice), unknowingly hit Boba Fett with a staff. This sent the famed bounty hunter to his assumed death when he was swallowed by the Sarlacc creature inside the sandy pit located on Skywalker's home world Tatooine.
However, it appears that Boba Fett may still be alive, since various Star Wars comic books and novels have claimed in the past that he has survived and escaped the pit.
The Latino-Review website claims that the Sith Witches are rumored to appear in the upcoming film as the Nightsisters of Dathomir, the clan of witches who helped Savage Opress find his long lost brother Darth Maul in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. Maul is a evil Sith Lord who was previously believed to be dead when he was cut in half by Luke's future Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace movie.
Star Wars Episode 7 is set to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2015.
