Star wars Episode 7 Movie Plot Rumors: Kevin Smith Reveals Spoilers (VIDEO AND PHOTO)

Clerks filmmaker and actor Kevin Smith revealed what he saw when he visited the set of the new Star Wars film.

"[J.J. Abrams] had sent me an email out of the blue while they were shooting in Abu Dhabi last month," said Smith to an audience who also attended the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival in Switzerland on July 5.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Smith added, "So we go to the set and they're actually shooting, and they're shooting -- and this is what I can't tell you what they were shooting -- But what I saw I absolutely loved. It was tactile, it wasn't a series of f---ing green and blue screens in which later on digital characters would be added. It was there it was happening."

The 43-year-old New Jersey native further described to the Swiss audience what he saw backstage regarding the film that is rumored to be titled Star Wars Episode 7: The Ancient Fear.

"I saw uniforms, I saw artillery that I haven't seen since I was a kid," said Smith. "I saw them shooting an actual sequence in a set that is real -- I walked across the set, there were explosions -- and it looked like a shot right out of an f--ing Star Wars movie."

In addition, the die-hard Star Wars fan recently went on social media to express his excitement for the upcoming film.

"Visited JJ and his EP VII set. I signed the NDA so all I can share are this old Bantha-Tracks subscriber's tears and snotty nose of joy. The Force is WITH this movie. Holy Sith...," wrote Smith via Instagram last week.

Lucasfilms announced on the official website that next month the production company will take a two week break in order to help actor Harrison Ford recuperate from his current broken leg injury.

The website also mentioned that actors Crystal Clarke and Pip Andersen will join the all-star cast that includes Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Andy Serkis to name a few.

Star Wars Episode 7 is set to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2015.
