Star Wars Episode 7 Movie Plot News: X-Wing Jets Confirmed After Storyline Leaked Online (VIDEOS)
In latest Star Wars Episode 7 news, there are numerous reports that claim the plot for the upcoming film was leaked online which included the return of X-Wings from the original Star Wars trilogy.
In a new video, film director JJ Abrams unveiled the return of the iconic X-Wing spacecraft that was first piloted by protagonist Luke Skywalker and the rest of the Rebel Alliance in Star Wars [Episode 4]: A New Hope in 1977.
"...We are so grateful for the support that the fans from over 119 countries have shown for Force for Change," said Abrams in the new video when he promoted the Star Wars: Force For Change charity initiative that supports UNICEF and children all over the world, "As we close this final week, we've added an additional prize that allows the fans the opportunity to see the movie early as a thank you for supporting such a great cause as UNICEF's innovative, lifesaving work for children."
According to BadA** Digest, in the beginning of the film the young heroes "Thomas" and "Rachel" (played by actors John Boyega and Daisy Ridley respectively) will locate a detached hand holding a light saber on Luke's home planet of Tatooine, before meeting Han Solo and Chewbacca when they all go on a quest to find Luke Skywalker.
According to the aforementioned website, Han Solo revealed that he has not seen Luke since they defeated the Imperial Galactic Empire in the events that occurred in the Star Wars [Episode 6]: Return of the Jedi film (released in 1983), where Darth Vader repented his evil ways after killing his former master Emperor Palpatine in defense of his severely injured son Luke over 30 years ago.
Now, it appears the Empire will rise again and they will be possibly building another Death Star in the future film, but this time the power space station will be located on the freezing planet called Hoth. On Hoth, the Rebel Alliance previously suffered its greatest defeat by the evil Empire in the 1980 film titled Star Wars [Episode 5]: The Empire Strikes Back.
Star Wars: Episode VII is due out in theaters on December 18, 2015.
