Star Wars 7 Plot Rumors, Cast News: Robert Pattinson Linked, Plot Given JJ Abrams Personal Twist
Star Wars: Episode VII will soon hit the theatres in December 2015 and reports have been declaring big celebrity names as joining the cast of the latest movie in the franchise.
Simon Pegg, Robert Pattinson, and more names have been speculated to be part of JJ Abrams eagerly anticipated upcoming movie.
The filming just started this May and with the age of cameras, social networking sites, it is impossible for filming to take place without continual leaks about cast and plot rumors.
But who are to keep an eye on? "Shaun of the Dead" star Simon Pegg is first on the list being recently reported to be on set in Abu Dhabi to film a 'secret' role for the movie.
Also, it is obvious that Pegg has a close work relationship with Abrams, being Scotty in "Star Trek" and being given a supporting role in "Mission: Impossible 3".
Although Pegg denies any connection to the movie in his interviews, who knows, and some believe he might be announcing something different soon.
Twilight star Robert Pattinson's name is also being loudly associated with the new Star Wars movie. Pattinson in recent tabloid news was rumored to be considered for a young Han Solo part in the movie, or even a young "Indiana Jones." However, again rumors surrounding Pattinson remain just speculation at this point.
Several other names have been speculated to be part of the sure blockbuster movie but certainly Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford will appear and will most probably have a central role. Also Gary Oldman should have a big part in the upcoming movie, according to news reports.
The film, as reports have speculated, will likely be reinvented by Abrams to give his own unique spin on the franchise. The plot of the movie will take part after the Star Wars episode 6, and will feature the period when the original characters have all grown older.
