Spurs VS Grizzlies ONLINE LIVE STREAM: Can Grizzlies Win Game 3 at Home? NBA Western Conference Finals 2013
Can the Memphis Grizzlies find a way back in the Western Conference Finals series against the San Antonio Spurs?
Tune in for Game 3 to see if the Grizzlies, at home, can turn their two game losing streak around against the surging Spurs. San Antonio leads the series 2-0.
The Grizzlies have two things to build off of in Game 3.
1. They held the Spurs to 4-16 shooting in the last 12 minutes of Game 2 [but ultimately lost 93-89].
2. Game 3 and 4 are at home in Memphis.
During the 2013 regular season, the Grizzlies were 32-9. Unfortunately the Spurs play well on the road.
Though no one should cheer for an injured player, recent reports have surfaced that Spurs point guard Tony Parker is scheduled for an MRI. Though Parker hasn't shown any signs of being hurt, playing masterfully, in Game 1 and 2 against the Grizzlies, the MRI on his left calf is precautionary.
"The MRI is just to make sure he's improving on schedule from the injury, which limited his effectiveness in the final two games of the Spurs' second-round series against theGoldenStateWarriors," according to USA Today.
Most likely Parker will return in Game 3 and command the game as usual. If so, how will Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins stop him? Though Parker is a great court general, he's fragile. Memphis guard Tony Allen could take Parker out of his comfort zone with tough, physical play. If the Grizzlies can wear the more athletic Spurs team down, it might open up more room for their big men, Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph.
Game 3: San Antonio Spurs at Memphis Grizzlies at 9 ET on ESPN.
