Spurs Rout Heat Giving Them 2-1 Series Advantage, Set 3-Point Record for NBA Finals, Tony Parker Hurt?

The NBA Finals were knotted up at one game a piece going into tonight's Game 3 in San Antonio.

The Spurs had not played at home for about three weeks with all their time off and the Heat were feeling good after pulling away in Game 2 and winning big.

That good feeling did not last long though as the Spurs came ready to play and their home crowd was fired up the whole night.

It was a close game going into halftime with Gary Neal hitting a huge three at the buzzer before half.

The second half was all Spurs as Neal and Danny Green caught fire from three, Green ended up with 27 points and Neal with 24 points.

The Spurs ended up with a NBA Finals record 16 three pointers.

Tony Parker went back to the locker room with the Spurs trainer during the third quarter. He did return to the bench and check back in for a couple minutes, but because of the big lead was able to sit most of the second half.

All Spurs fans are hoping that he will be good to go Thursday night for Game 4.

Lebron James seemed very passive in the first half and settled for a lot of jump shots. He caught a nice streak heading into the fourth quarter with nine straight points, but was still held under 20 points.

Lebron James has been held under 20 points in all three games this series so far and did not even get to the free throw line tonight. That right there shows a lack of overall aggression as James can get to the rim whenever he wants to.

The other two of Miami's "Big 3" had average games but not enough to get the win. Bosh had 12 points and 10 rebounds and Wade ended up with 16 points and 5 assists but ended up with 0 rebounds.

The Heat's 36 point loss was the third worst in NBA Finals history.

Game 4 will be Thursday night 9pm EST on ABC.
