Spain vs Chile Live Stream Free: Watch Online World Cup 2014 Soccer
Spain will face Chile Wednesday at the Estádio Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The game starts at 3:00 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).
Spain is looking to defeat Chile when the two Group B teams square off on June 18. Spain is looking to defend the title after the team won their first World Cup championship in 2010. In addition, the Spanish team is looking for redemption after losing to Netherlands by 5-1 on June 13.
After last week's upsetting defeat, Spain is in a dire situation after only getting a point in the Group B standings. Now, the Spanish national team must win a game in the same stadium they lost to Brazil in during last year's Confederations Cup final by a score of 3-0.
"The Maracana is mythical, but the only wish is for the result to be completely different from last year's Confederations Cup final and we can win," said Juan Mata to reporters.
Mata's Spanish teammate Pedro Rodriguez agrees with fellow countryman.
"It's a stadium with so much history, and we've played there already. It's an important place and hopefully that can work in our favor," said Rodriguez to reporters. "What's clear is that we cannot afford to fail."
Chile is looking to get the upset against the Spanish national team, Alexis Sanchez is hoping to prevent his Barcelona FC teammate (Pedro Rodriguez) from advancing to the next round of the tournament on Wednesday afternoon. After the game versus Spain, Chile will battle the Netherlands on June 23.
The game will begin at 3 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network or online through live stream by clicking here.
