Sony Xperia Z4 Release Date, Specs Rumors: Tech Titan Quiet about Launch Window

Last week saw the start and end of the CES 2015 event in which experts expected to hear the release date of the Sony Xperia Z4. Yet, the event concluded without the launch of the smartphone, leaving people still waiting for information about an official release.

There are rumors circulating that Sony did provide information about the Xperia Z4's release, but it was behind the scenes at CES 2015. Now, experts are speculating that Sony will reveal the phone's release date at a different trade show in two months' time.

That is, if people can wait that long. There has been a lot of tech talk about the Xperia Z4's release, and now that Sony has stopped its pattern of releasing technology every two years, experts have their hands up in the air.

Even though Sony's Executive of Product Marketing Communications has not offered much in the way of new information, the release of the new smartphone is highly anticipated. One thing experts know for sure is that Sony said it would release the Xperia Z4 in 2015, yet many suspect that the company has already showed off the smartphone at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show.

According to the latest leaked information, the phone will be available in two versions differing in the resolution of the screens, one with a Quad HD display and one with a Full HD display. Both versions will have screens measuring 5.5 inches, as well as a QualComm Snapdragon 810 SoC, 4 gigabytes of RAM, Android 5.0 Lollipop, a 3,300mAh battery, and a 21mp Exmor camera.

However, time seems to be running out for Sony to release the Xperia Z4. The 2015 World Mobile Congress is slated for March 2nd through the 5th, and Sony released the Z3 at the same event last year. This has experts predicting that the event in Spain will see the release of the Z4.
