When it comes to screens, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z may have it bigger with a 10.1 inch LED-backlit LCD display (1200 x 1920, 224 ppi resolution) but the iPad has it clearer and more vibrant. The iPad 4 boasts a 9.7 inch LED-backlit display with 1536 x 2048 resolution with 264 ppi. Under the hood the Apple iPad 4 has a dual-core Apple A6X processor at 1.4 GHZ.

The Xperia Tablet Z may run a little smoother with the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor with a speed of 1.5GHz.
