Sony's Xperia T3 has already been released in Asia, and has since become available in Canada starting August 1.

Patrons of Sony products have been waiting for this marvel in technology as it's ready to be released in different areas of the world. Sony is planning to release the smartphone in various areas of the globe, starting with Canada.

The Xperia T3 has recently been dubbed the slimmest 5.3-inches device with its thickness of 0.28-inches (or 7mm) and a weight of 148 grams.

As many consider this phone stylish and aesthetically attractive, but it's also built with some pretty amazing specs. The device reportedly runs on Android v4.4 KitKat while it is powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400) Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.4 GHz and packs 1 GB of RAM. In terms of its memory capacity, Sony's latest gadget comes with only 8 GB memory capacity, but it supports microSD card for expansion up to a good 32 GB.

Another point to note about the device, is its high end camera. It features Sony's Exmor RS, HDR and SteadyShot while equipped with built-in camera Apps, such as AR Effect, Timeshift Burst, Creative Effects, and Portrait Retouch.

Users of this phone are also expected to be pleased with its new style of display. The company has reportedly combined their TV and phone technologies to a create a display that provides an entirely new experience in the world of smartphones.

The Sony Xperia T3 was first released in China, specifically Hong Kong on July 14.
