‘Sons of Anarchy’ Season 7 Spoilers, Rumors: Poster Gives Fans a Glimpse of Jax the "Reaper"

The new 'Sons of Anarchy' poster, released by the producers of the hit FX show, has fans coming up with ideas about what they will see when the show returns for its seventh season.

In the image, viewers note that Jax, portrayed by Charlie Hunnam, is pulling a gun out from the back of his SAMCRO jeans. At the same time, anyone who looks at the poster will immediately notice the giant skull tattoo imprinted on the actor's back.

Fans speculate that the tattoo is symbolic to the final season of the series, insinuating that Jax will become some sort of a reaper. This makes sense as spoilers reveal that he will do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of Tara's murder.

Kurt Sutter, creator of SOA, revealed during the Comic-Con in San Diego that Jax's character will be "provocative" next season, "He's driven, with a singular purpose. Rather than being a reactor to chaos, he will be the inciter. It's almost like writing a brand new character," said Sutter.

From a mere empathic character, Jax has evolved throughout the series; he has become a vengeance-seeking machine. However, the character's change should not be blamed on him, as he has been through some traumatic events, one being the death of Opie (his bestfriend), to which he was a direct witness.

"Jax was always so tortured by the pull of who he thought he should be," Charlie Hunnam explained to TV Guide, "There's something really liberating about being rid of the sense of having to be a good guy. This is about Jax deciding, if he's got no reason to leave [the outlaw world], he may as well be what this world demands you be."
