‘Sons of Anarchy’ Season 7 Release Date, Spoilers: Charlie Hunnam’s Skull Poster Signifies Death of 3 Major Characters? [VIDEOS]

FX's 'Sons of Anarchy' is the middle of production and already fans have various ideas about the future of SAMCRO's outlawed motor club. The most recent FX promotional poster shows Charlie Hunnam posing on a black and white canvas with skull imagery on his back while he holds a gun.

Recent spoilers revealed that Season 7 is going to open up with heightened drama especially since Jax Teller is on a warpath looking to avenge his murdered wife. Episode 1 begins 10 days after the tragic death of Tara Knowles Teller and it is still a mystery as to how Hunnam's character will discover the truth behind it.

Jax will be seen in a bolder light especially that Tara's death threw him into an indefinite grieving state and a parole violation. The 34-year-old's photo-shopped skull image could be a representation of three major deaths signified by the holes in the eyes and nose.

At Comic-Con 2014 in San Diego, executive producer Kurt Sutter teased what the future of SAMCRO brothers could be, "This season will be the most proactive for Jax. He's driven, with a singular purpose. Rather than being a reactor to chaos, he will be the inciter. It's almost like writing a brand new character," he said.

'Sons of Anarchy' returns to FX on September 9 with the first episode titled "Black Widower."
