Skillet Previews New Song "Sick Of It" Urging Fans to Post Photos [LINK]

Skillet fans show your support. The band just posted on their Facebook page urging fans to check out a clip of their new song "Sick Of It" and to post interpretive photos on Instagram.

"Head over to http://www.skillet.com/ now to hear a clip of our new song "Sick of It" and submit your photos on Instagram using #skillet and #sickofit to see them on the site and for a chance to see them included in our upcoming lyric video!"

Skillet is currently working on their highly anticipated album due out this spring. The band is teaming up with producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Motorhead, All American Rejects), and recording in Los Angeles.

Of the new album, lead singer John Cooper says, "Musically, this record feels like a roller coaster ride. Several tracks are aggressive with dirtier and edgier guitars. Korey's keyboards are extremely unique and Jen's great vocals are showcased throughout the album. There are some powerful anthems and what our fans tend to love, the "signature Skillet" songs: symphonic, classical rock duets."

Skillet's new album was also featured in Guitar World with a 2-page spread. CCM Magazine delved a little further with their "In the Studio" and "Gear Guide" features.

Skillet is one of only three rock bands to go platinum in 2012. Mumford & Sons, and Black Keys are the other two. They've been nominated for two Grammys, and their 2009 release Awake went platinum last year, selling over 1 million units in the U.S. alone.
