'Sisters' Trailer News: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Promote 'Sisters' Movie

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are going to be back on the big screen this December. The best friend comediennes will be debuting their movie, Sisters, an R rated comedy film that will likely have fans gasping for air.

The pair premiered the trailer for the film on July 14th during an appearance on The Tonight Show.

The movie focuses on Poehler's Maura, who is "the perfect sister", and Fey's Kate, who is "the other sister".

The sisters return to their childhood home, after discovering that their parents plan to sell it. They decide to say goodbye to the house by having an awesome party.

Also starring in the film are Ike Barinholtz, Maya Rudolph and Rachel Dratch, which means that fans can expect non stop hilarity and shenanigans.

Poehler and Fey have not done a feature film collaboration since Baby Mama, which premiered in 2008.

Fans are eagerly anticipating Sisters, as it has been quite some time since the comedic couple has been on the big screen together.

Poehler, who stands behind her creation one hundred percent has a simple way to help fans decide whether or not they will enjoy the film.

"If you like Tina and I and you like sisters, you'll like Sisters!" said Poehler. "If you like us being sisters, you'll love Sisters".

Dratch added that there is no excuse for anyone who loves comedy not to see the film. "It's not just a chick movie. It's an everyone funny movie -- its a party movie," said Dratch.
