Sinister Six Movie Rumors, Spoilers and Release Date: No Spiderman In Villain Oriented Film?
With so many superhero movies on the horizon for this year and the next, one of the more interesting upcoming films is 'Sinister Six'. This time around, the focus of the film will be based on the villains and not the super hero. However, in light of this, fans are left wondering what could possibly happen in a movie like that?
As it stands, there's not much information in terms of the 'Sinister Six' plot, but the writer/director, and the release date, have been confirmed.
Drew Goddard, of 'Cabin in the Woods fame' is set to helm the film, which is going to release in November of 2016.
Stepping into what the film could possibly be about, fans can imagine a plethora of scenarios. Evidently, the villains have to do something in the movie, and there has to be some action in it. This leads people to believe that it's going to be another Spiderman movie, but told from the villain perspective instead.
However, there's a stick in the mud with that one; a recent interview with 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' star Andrew Garfield, brought with it some interesting ideas.
Garfield said, "I know more than I'm allowed to say right now," to the Toronto Sun as he promoted his new film '99 Homes' at the Toronto International Film Festival.
We went on to mention all he could say about 'Sinister Six', "I can say I'm really excited about Drew Goddard, who's going to be writing and directing [...] and whether I'm involved in that or not is kind of immaterial."
Unfortunately, this isn't much of a lead in the mystery of the 'Sinister Six' plot, but it does bring up one important question. Is Spiderman going to be in the film at all?
As it stands, there's no telling if that's the case. Fans will just have to wait until more spoilers are released about the film, either that, or wait till they can see it in theaters roughly two years from now.
