Electronic Arts (EA) has confirmed that the video game 'Sims 4' will be released for PC on Sept. 2. At the same time, the game developer has also posted the official system prerequisites for players wanting to know if their machine will be able to run the game.

While EA has announced the official release date for the PC version of the game, there is no release date for a Mac version as of yet. Apple users interested in the game were met with EA's official website message that read, "What platform is The SIMS 4 available on? The SIMS 4 will be available on PC. Will The SIMS 4 be available on MAC? We are currently focused on the PC version. We have no updates on MAC at this time."
