Sims 4 Release Date September 2014, Unlocks New Emotionally-Themed Actions, Adventures

Electronic Arts has unveiled brand new features in the recent Electronic Entertainment Expo last June 10 to 12 for their soon to be released game, The Sims 4. According todevelopers, the newest simulation game allows players to build houses and community lots, but not apartments which would only be available in future expansion packs.

The Sims 4 executive producer Rachel Franklin told PC Gamer, "[The game features] brand new Sims whose traits, emotions, and aspirations combine to define more meaningful personalities than you've ever played with before. [Players] decide not only what they look like, but more importantly, who they are. The combination of these new Sims, our powerful new creative tools, and the all-new Gallery add up to the best game we've ever made."

Also, Sims characters are able to unlock new emotionally-themed actions such as "peeved push-ups, sit-ups, or fury" just by interacting with surroundings or with other Sims in the neighborhood, Trusted Reviews wrote. Fans can also check out collectibles and secrets found in communites like Willow Creek and Magnolia Blossom Park which are known for their new stunning plant life in the game's backdrop.

EA will release The Sims 4 on September 2, though fans are already eligible to place pre-orders online via Origin. The price starts at $59.99 for the Limited Edition and $69.99 for the Deluxe Pack.
