‘Silicon Valley’ Season 2 Release Date, Plot Spoilers: HBO Renews (VIDEO)

Silicon Valley's finale episode has taken place, and makers will be reasonably happy with what has been a successful debut season. Mike Judge's sitcom garnered about 2 million viewers, according to TV By The Numbers May 19 report. Fans will be delighted that HBO will be renewing the show for a Season 2, but as yet there has been no official news on the plot or cast rumors.

Optimal Tip-to-Tip Efficiency showed Gavin Belson's team triumphant in a presentation battle against co-worker Pied Piper and friends. Kumail Nanjiani, who plays Danesh, also emerged as the new hero-slash-comedian.

The corporate rivalry increased a notch higher and fans can expect a more intense competition next season.

"What we're trying to do, hypothetically, is minimize time which is 800 dudes multiplied by mean jerk time divided by four dicks at a time," Nanjiani told Entertainment Weekly showing off the nerdy side of his character.

No definite updates on Season 2's storyline and release date are available, however the 36-year-old Pakistan-American actor said that the next season for Silicon Valley is going to put the casts out of their comfort zones.

"There's the house, and that's where we're most comfortable... and then the last two episodes we go to TechCrunch, and suddenly the roof is gone and it's all very scary," Nanjiani told MTV News.

What is certain is that Judge's Office Space-inspired show is going to progress and develop its humor to a greater degree. Episode 8 Optimal Tip-to-Tip Efficiency re-airs on June 3, 10 PM on HBO.
