Sign of the Times? Rare Sea Creatures Keep Popping Up Around the World; End Time Believers Think it Points to Second Coming (VIDEO)
An overwhelming number of rare sea creatures have been discovered in the month of May, prompting many end time spectators to believe it is another sign that the end is near.
On May 1st, CNN reported that of a rare, nearly 7-foot-long, 100-pound Atlantic sturgeon was discovered along the Connecticut River. The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection labeled this fish an endangered species.
On May 3rd, a shrimp fishermen in Florida caught a goblin shark, and told NBC the shark looked "prehistoric" and he had never seen it before. The Goblin Shark was a very unusual find because it is a species thought to swim only in deep waters off Japan and the Gulf of Mexico. There is not much known about the species and they are also extremely rare.
A report on May 4th of an unidentified fish-like creature with huge teeth found on a South African beach has many puzzled as to what to even think of this "fish." News24 reports that some speculate the creature could be a mutated species. Others say that as the head and jaws are so out of proportion with the creature's body, it could be made up of numerous different creatures.
Again on May 4th, a fisherman caught what people are reporting is a rare deep sea-dwelling 'Rhinochimaera' near Pamban, India.
On May 8th, on the coast of Japan an extremely rare female deep-water megamouth shark was caught in Shizuoka, Japan. According to Japan Daily press, the shark is believed to be only the 55th confirmed sighting of the animal on record.
On May 16th, a rare deep-sea lancetfish with very sharp teeth was found washed ashore in North Carolina. The lancet fish is a mysterious species that has a set of fangs, and can grow to more than 6 feet long. The fish was released back into the ocean after surprised onlookers took its picture.
Also on the 16th, a monster jellyfish visited the beaches of southwest Wales, very far north of its native habitat in the warmer waters of the Mediterranean. Click here to see a photo of the monster jellyfish.
On May 17th, an unidentified fish was caught off a pier in Pensacola, Florida. The news reports state that "researchers will confirm the ID of the species", although they may have to search paleontological records since eyewitnesses said that it too looked "prehistoric".


These and many more appearances now have end times sites and blogs posting about the correlation these creatures may have with the end of the world citing climate change and natural disaster indications.
