Shirley Murdock Encourages Fathers in Live Music Stage Plays
It is no secret that Shirley Murdock is a phenomenal singer and that her gift from God has afforded her many opportunities to share this gift.
This summer, Shirley will exercise her gift in a few musical stage plays across the country. She is no stranger to the theatre and has appeared in various plays such as, A Mother's Prayer, The Ideal Husband, Love Me/Leave Me, and There is One in Every Family, to name a few.
On Friday, June 15th and Sunday June 17th, Shirley Murdock will appear in two music stage plays in celebration of Father's Day.
Murdock's first theatre stop will be on June 15th in Tuscaloosa, AL in Marc Raby's music stage play "Should A Man Cry". Shirley will share the stage with R&B Crooner Tony Terry in "Should A Man Cry" at the Bama Theatre.
"Should A Man Cry" is the story of when a loving husband becomes a single father and goes on a journey to regain his faith in God.
Shirley's theatre run will continue on June 17th in Las Vegas, NV in the Live stage play "D.N.A.", written and directed by Ms. Michelle.
"D.N.A." is the story of how a preacher and daughter's life and relationship is made whole by the Power of God's DNA.
Murdock is excited to be a part of both theatre presentations, "Should A Man Cry" and "D.N.A".
It is most fitting that fathers are the focal point of both plays and Shirley hopes to encourage all men to keep God first as we celebrate Father's Day.
Shirley's weekend will end on a high note as she celebrates her 24th Wedding Anniversary on June 18th with her husband Dale DeGroat.
