Shaun White's New Band, Bad Things, Releases "Caught Inside", Launches Summer Tour July 11th (Listen Here)
Shaun White has spent his life competing in action sports and working tirelessly on moves that defy imagination and gravity. He has dominated the snowboarding field winning multiple Olympic and X-Game gold medals.
White has also been using another creative part of his mind to create music with his band, Bad Things. White plays guitar in the band and they have recently signed a record deal with Warner Bros.
The sound is pretty melodic feel and has strong indie-rock vibes. After a first listen, it has a great sound and seem to be headed in the right direction with the new record deal.
You can listen to their song "Caught Inside" HERE on their Soundcloud page.
The Los Angeles based band consists of White (guitar), Davis LeDuke (vocals), Anthony Sanudo (guitar), Jared Palomar (bass) and Lena Zawaideh (drums).
Bad Things is hitting the road to with an East Coast and Midwest tour this summer if you want to catch the band live.
They kick off their tour on July 11 in New York City.
They worked alongside producer, Rob Schnapf, who has worked with bands such as The Vines and Beck to name a few.
Bad Things is expected to release a full length album by the end of 2013.
White is planning to compete in the Sochi Games, so we will see if the touring schedule of the band slows him down on the pipes any. He usually trains in the summer in the Southern Hemisphere.
